Hello! Welcome to the new home of Elementary Tech Teachers. For those of you who are joining us from the old site, please feel free to continue conversations started on the old Ning. For those of you who are new to Elementary Tech Teachers, we welcome you and hope we can help you in your technology journey.
Nedra was a wonderful and generous host on the ETT Ning, but has changed positions and no longer has the time to put in that is necessary. She and I spoke and thought it might be wise to try something new and different to give new life to the group. I searched for viable options and stumbled onto Spruz. This seemed to be the most like Ning and we can upgrade as needed based on the number of members we have. Donations will be appreciated to keep the site alive once we get up and running.
Please feel free to start discussions about questions or concerns you might have about teaching in a lab, share materials or links, or even lurk until you feel comfortable enough to share with the other members. While this site has elementary computer lab teachers in mind, anyone who is involved in technology in education is welcome. We have the ability to create groups based on special interests, and I encourage you to create a group if you have a specific topic that interests you.
Please don't hesitate to ask any questions or air any comments or concerns about the site to me. I hope that this site serves a need and becomes a thriving community full of friends and knowledge.
